One thing I like about Cubit is that Buildsoft has listened to its Clients. You can also customise reports specifically for your company. Cubit has a list of new reports that can be printed and you can still print a BOQ in the Original Buildsoft format if you so desire. You can save templates of different type of projects so, when you are measuring, the amount of typing you have to do is greatly reduced. And any of those annoying revised drawings we often get during the tender period has been made much simpler to measure with the new feature that actually shows you the difference by comparing drawings on screen for you. Producing faster more accurate takeoffs has never been easier and for those of us that use R2 and Q2 coding extensively there will be just about an unlimited amount of columns you can use (depending on the power of your computer) so, we will not be stuck with four coding columns anymore. I was up and running with the basic in just one day. Not that its going to take you long anyway. It integrates with Buildsoft Global and Offsider programs so your down time is virtually nil whilst your staff get up to speed with this new program. Many of the function have been carried across to these programs from Global to make it more user friendly.
